Prof. George Sowers of the Space Resources program was recently appointed by NASA’s Administrator, Bill Nelson to the NASA Advisory Council, in the Committee on Human Exploration and Space Operations. This Committee supports the advisory needs of the NASA Administrator and the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate, as well as other NASA Mission Directorates. The scope of the Committee includes all human exploration and operations-related programs, projects, activities and facilities at NASA, such as the Artemis program to return humans to the Moon.
