The Mines’ Center for Space Resources has built a new large Lunar Surface Simulator. The 120 square-meter simulated moonscape facility is now being used to test lunar rovers and to evaluate lunar landing and launch pads, excavation gear, robotic manipulators, and other hardware concepts.
