NASA Deputy Administrator and former Space Shuttle Astronaut, Pam Melroy, visited the Center for Space Resources, toured its laboratories, and met with faculty of the Space Resources program. After the visit, the Deputy Administrator posted on Twitter: “Thank you to @coschoolofmines for hosting me to discuss their role in mining, resources and something near and dear to my heart: in-situ resource utilization. ISRU is going to be crucial to having a sustained human presence on the Moon, Mars, and out into the solar system.”
