Jared Atkinson, a PhD student in geophysics and researcher in the Center for Space Resources, was recently interviewed by NBC News about the Commercial Lunar Propellant Architecture study that he co-authored along with several faculty members and students of the Mines Space Resources program. The NBC News article focused on NASA’s plans to build a moon-orbiting space station and permanent lunar base.
