Curtis Purrington wins NASA NSTGRO fellowship and Challenge prize

Space Resources graduate student Curtis Purrington has received two different NASA awards in the last two months.  The first one is the NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities (NSTGRO) fellowship for his PhD research project entitled, “Locating and Identifying Lunar Volatiles using Heat and Mass Transfer.”  The second award was a prize given by the NASA JPL-led “Honey, I Shrunk the NASA Payload” challenge, for his “M-EL VIS, Locating and Mapping Lunar Volatiles” proposal.
