Dr. Abbud-Madrid addressed The Hague International Space Resources Governance Working Group at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands on April 23, 2018 with a talk entitled, “Space Resources Learning Curve: Exploration, Technology, and Commerce.” Abbud-Madrid is an Observer and member of the Technical Panel, which provides scientific and technical advice to the Working Group as it prepares its building blocks for the development of an international legal framework on space resources activities.
